Biography of Tiphanie “Tipp” Spradlin

After 29 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, Tiphanie “Tipp”

Spradlin traded flight lines for bottom lines—bringing military

precision and mission-first focus to the world of business brokerage. As Co-Owner of First Choice Business Brokers of Northwest Florida, Tipp helps business owners navigate one of the most important transitions of their lives: selling the company they’ve built with sweat, risk, and grit.

Before entering business brokerage, Tipp led teams in government contracting, research and development, and IT project management, where she became known for process efficiency, strategic clarity, and her ability to turn chaos into well-oiled systems. Those same skills now help entrepreneurs prepare their businesses for sale, improve operations, and attract qualified buyers.

A Boots to Business speaker and advocate for veteran entrepreneurship, Tipp coaches business owners on building an exit-strategy mindset—helping them think like buyers long before they’re ready to sell. Her goal is simple: help owners start off right, grow with intention, and retire strong. Known for her down-to-earth approach and sharp strategic eye, she makes even complex deals feel clear and achievable.

Outside of work, Tipp is most at home on a trail, behind the wheel of a good road trip, or buried in a book with a notebook nearby. She’s a natural strategist who believes every great idea starts as a scribble, and she never misses a chance to turn a brainstorming session into an adventure.
