Compensation — Earn What You're Worth
This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-only role. There is no base salary. Business brokerage is not a quick path. Deals take time, and building a pipeline requires patience and consistency in the early months. The upside is real: a single closed transaction typically generates $15,000 to $50,000+ in commission depending on deal size, and successful advisors build compounding deal flow as their reputation and referral network grow. We provide full training through the First Choice Business Brokers system, access to proprietary listing platforms and tools, and the direct mentorship of an experienced local team. You bring the drive and we will give you everything else you need to succeed.

Who We're Looking For
We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds. Proven experience in business brokerage, sales, finance, real estate, or entrepreneurship is a strong foundation, but mindset matters most. Former business owners are especially encouraged to apply.
- Self-motivated with the ability to build and manage a pipeline independently
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, written, verbal, and in person
- Genuine curiosity about business and how companies are built, valued, and sold
- Ability to build lasting rapport with clients during high-stakes decisions
- Comfort with longer sales cycles, as transactions typically take 6 to 12 months
- Knowledge of financial statements and business valuation methods, or willingness to learn
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and computer skills
- Absolute commitment to client confidentiality and professional integrity
A Florida real estate license is required prior to onboarding. If you are not yet licensed we encourage you to apply and we will guide you through the process. The 63-hour pre-licensing course and state exam can typically be completed within 60 to 90 days.
