Biography of SSgt Gatsby

SSgt Gatsby serves as the unofficial morale officer at First Choice Business Brokers of Northwest Florida, bringing years of experience in food surveillance, nap logistics, and team engagement. A retired military facility dog, Gatsby proudly supported the 601st Air and Space Operations Center at Tyndall Air Force Base before transitioning to civilian life—where he continues to serve alongside his former handler, Tiphanie “Tipp” Spradlin.

Together, they’ve traded mission briefings for business meetings, but their teamwork remains as solid as ever. A proud graduate of the K9s For Warriors organization and a certified Canine Good Citizen, Gatsby now divides his time between greeting clients, monitoring snack operations, and keeping team morale high through pure charisma and tail wags.

Known for his steady temperament, expressive eyebrows, and strong tennis-ball enthusiasm, SSgt Gatsby remains a valued member of the FCBB team. Off duty, he enjoys reconnaissance walks, road trips, and proving that loyalty never really retires
